Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna

We stayed at Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna as a couple for 5 nights and everything was simply amazing from the moment we arrived until our last day. We had a Premium King View Room with all-inclusive, and it exceeded all our expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped (only body cream was missing from the amenities). We appreciated the complimentary mini bar as part of the all-inclusive package, and the daily cleaning service kept everything spotless. The food was outstanding – truly a highlight of our stay. Every day brought a new and delicious selection. We enjoyed breakfast at the Fairways buffet, lunch à la carte by the pool, and buffet dinners in the evening. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Drinks, filtered water (by Brita), coffee, and cocktails were all included and readily available. The resort itself is stunning – very well maintained, with a spacious pool area, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, and attentive lifeguards who also helped with towels and shade when needed. The lagoon area is a peaceful alternative to the pool, offering a quieter atmosphere and clean, calm waters. We also loved that the hotel organized evening events almost daily. You could really see the attention to detail and the effort the staff put in – preparations often started early in the afternoon! Contrary to some reviews we read, we didn’t encounter any unpleasant situations with external visitors. Occasionally, service providers (like spa or excursions) would approach, but never in an annoying way. If you weren’t interested, they’d politely thank you and walk away. We actually found it helpful to learn about some services we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. The spa experience was wonderful too – located in a peaceful area across the resort near the golf course, with a charming boat ride to get there.

Our stay at this resort was largely exceptional, delivering a near-perfect experience that left us eager to return, despite a few minor drawbacks. The overall quality of the stay was outstanding, though it came at a slightly higher price compared to other options in the area. However, the impeccable service and comfortable accommodations made it well worth the cost. The rooms were spotlessly clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. The staff’s dedication was a highlight, with Samy and Abdel Rahman making check-in and check-out seamless and pleasant with their warm, professional approach. A special shoutout to Saeed/Peter from housekeeping, who kept our room pristine and perfectly made up every day, adding a personal touch that elevated the experience. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. Despite these minor issues, the hotel’s exceptional service, cleanliness, and overall ambiance made this one of the best stays we’ve had. We’re already looking forward to returning, inshallah, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a high-quality experience with a few tweaks for perfection. Breakfast is very good , I would like to thank Ishak a professional caliber working in Steigenberger El Gouna. He handle guest complain in a very professional manner & he offered exceptional service . Also there are 2 waiters called Ahmed from upper Egypt I think Aswan both of them are working in the main dinning room , one of them is covering room service both are offering amazing service. I know the oldest Ahmed before he always exceed guest expectations. But I recommend that you pay attention to one waiter that he try to be too close to the guests as if is talking to classmates, this guy is slim & singing in inappropriate way , he is not aware that he is working in a 5 stars hotel. Chef Hassan & Chef Saber are excellent. Also dinner buffet is the best one among El Gouna 5 stars hotels

Nice hotel, breakfast, room, pool and beach all perfect. El gouna is a super place to go and Steigenberger is what we see the best option around the city Simply take a tuc tuc for €0.30 to go around el Gouna. Steigenberger felt save and has if you like it everything you need for a super Holiday
